「挂机人生」去哪了？

「挂机人生」已更名为「观复」（英文名 Ebbwatch），并移除了等级、成就、连击等游戏化内容。这是同一个应用的新版本，升级后你已有的全部记录原样保留。

怎样记录？

• 对话记录：点底部中间的 +，选择「AI 记录」，写下"今天早上跑了 5 公里"。设备端 AI 生成记录卡片，缺信息时会追问，你确认后才保存。也可以附上照片。
• 手动记录：同样点 +，选择「新记录」，选属性并填写数值、时长、次数、选项或文字。
• 自动记录：在「更多 › 排程规则」中新建排程，可按时间、到达或离开某个地点、运动状态、日历事件开始或结束、充电接通或断开来触发。
• 系统数据导入：在「更多 › 系统数据源集成」中开启步数（「健康」）、日历、提醒事项、运动状态、到访地点；在新建记录时从「手记建议」导入。
• Siri 与快捷指令：说"用观复记录"，或在小组件上一键记录。

AI 模型需要下载吗？多大？

需要。AI 功能使用在设备端运行的 Gemma 4 模型，通过 Apple 的按需资源从 Apple 服务器一次性下载：轻量版约 3.4 GB（默认），增强版约 5 GB（可选）。建议连接 Wi-Fi 并预留足够的存储空间。可以在首次启动时下载，也可以跳过，之后在「更多 › AI 模型」中下载或删除。

AI 需要 6 GB 或以上内存的设备（例如 iPhone 13 Pro、iPhone 14 及更新机型）。未下载模型时，记录、自动记录、偏离检测与推演照常可用，只是叙述改用内置文字，自然语言输入改用简单的规则解析。

应用需要联网吗？

日常使用不需要。记录、记忆、偏离检测、推演与 AI 推理都在你的设备上完成。只有以下由系统发起的网络行为，均不经过我们的服务器：首次下载 AI 模型；地点记录时由 Apple 的系统定位服务把坐标解析为地名；以及你自己开启的 iCloud 同步。

如何在 iPhone 和 iPad 之间同步？

在「更多 › 数据与备份 › iCloud 同步」中开启，然后按提示完全退出并重新打开应用。两台设备需登录同一 Apple 账户并都开启同步，重复的属性和记录会自动合并。数据只存入你自己的 iCloud 私有数据库与 iCloud 云盘，我们无法访问。应用设置与搜索索引不同步。关闭同步不会删除任何数据；iCloud 中的副本可在系统「设置 › Apple 账户 › iCloud › 管理储存空间」中删除。

「健康」数据如何处理？

观复只读取步数，不写入任何健康数据，数据只在设备本地读取和保存，不会用于广告，也不会与任何人共享。「健康」数据从不存入 iCloud：开启 iCloud 同步期间暂停健康导入，已导入的健康记录留在本机暂存区（备份中仍包含）；关闭同步并重启应用后恢复显示，并补齐暂停期间的数据。

"记忆"是什么？可以删除吗？

观复会从你的记录与对话中整理出关于你的事实、偏好与习惯，用于发现偏离、推演趋势和 AI 叙述。在「更多 › 记忆」中可以查看、修改、置顶、删除任意一条，手动添加，清除全部记忆，或关闭学习。

"偏离"和"推演"是怎么得出的？

偏离以你自己过去的行为为基线，当某项指标明显偏离常态时以红色标出。推演根据你的历史记录估算趋势、目标达成概率与习惯延续概率。积累约两周、20 条记录后开始出现。两者都只用你自己的数据在设备端计算，是统计估计，不构成专业建议。

如何备份、恢复和迁移？

• 在「更多 › 导出与备份」中点「生成备份归档」，得到一个 .girsbackup 文件（包含记录、属性、目标、排程、地点、记忆以及照片、视频和语音），通过"存储到文件"或分享保存。
• 恢复时在同一页点「从归档还原 / 迁移」，选择 .girsbackup 文件。先预览内容，再选择"与现有数据合并"（只补充缺少的内容）或"替换现有数据"（失败时不会改动现有数据）。
• 也可以导出为 CSV 或 JSON，在 Numbers、Excel 或其他工具中查看。
• 应用还会在本机自动保留最近几份本地备份。

注意：备份文件未加密，请妥善保管。

如何删除我的数据？

• 单条记录或记忆可以在应用内直接删除；记忆可以一键清除全部。
• 删除应用会永久删除本机上的全部数据，包括记录与记忆。删除前建议先生成备份。
• 如果曾开启 iCloud 同步，iCloud 中的副本需要在系统「设置 › Apple 账户 › iCloud › 管理储存空间」中删除。
• 我们没有你的任何数据，因此不需要、也无法替你删除服务器上的数据。

怎样切换中文 / 英文？

观复默认跟随系统语言，也可以在应用内「更多 › 语言」选择简体中文或 English，重新打开应用后生效。设备端 AI 会按你输入的语言回复。「每日鼓励」小组件上可以一键切换中文 / English。

为什么需要"始终"位置权限？

只用于你自己设置的地点：到达或离开时，即使应用没有打开也能自动记录；以及可选的到访地点识别。不使用地点功能就不需要授权，其他功能不受影响。

What happened to 挂机人生 (Guaji Rensheng)?

It is now called Ebbwatch (观复 in Chinese). Levels, achievements, streaks and other game elements were removed. It is the same app, and all your existing entries are kept after you update.

How do I log entries?

• Chat to log: tap + in the middle of the tab bar, choose AI log, and write something like "ran 5 km this morning". The on-device AI drafts an entry, asks about anything missing, and saves only when you confirm. You can attach a photo.
• Manual: tap +, choose New entry, pick a tracker and enter a number, duration, count, option or text.
• Automations: More › Automations › New automation. Triggers: time, arriving at or leaving a place, motion (walking, running, cycling, driving, workout), a calendar event starting or ending, and plugging in or unplugging (while Ebbwatch is running).
• Data sources: More › Data source integrations turns on step count from Apple Health, Calendar, Reminders, motion activity and visited places. Journaling Suggestions can be imported from a new entry.
• Siri and Shortcuts: say "Log with Ebbwatch", or log with one tap from a widget.

Do I need to download the AI model? How large is it?

Yes, for AI features. Ebbwatch uses Google's Gemma 4 model, which runs entirely on your device. It is downloaded once from Apple's servers through On-Demand Resources: the lite model is about 3.4 GB (default) and the enhanced model about 5 GB (optional). Use Wi-Fi and keep enough free storage. You can download it during setup or skip it, then download or delete it later in More › AI model.

The model needs a device with 6 GB of memory or more, such as iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 14 or later. Without it, logging, automations, divergences and projections still work; narration uses built-in text and plain-language input uses simpler rule-based parsing.

Does Ebbwatch need an internet connection?

Not for everyday use. Entries, memory, divergence detection, projections and AI all run on your device. The only network activity is started by the system and never reaches our servers: the one-time model download, Apple's location service turning coordinates into place names, and iCloud sync if you turn it on.

How do I sync between iPhone and iPad?

Turn on More › Data and backup › iCloud sync, then fully quit and reopen Ebbwatch when asked. Both devices must use the same Apple Account with sync turned on; duplicate trackers and entries are merged. Your data goes only to your own private iCloud database and iCloud Drive, which we cannot access. App settings and the search index are not synced. Turning sync off deletes nothing. To remove the iCloud copy, go to Settings › Apple Account › iCloud › Manage Storage.

What happens to my Apple Health data?

Ebbwatch reads step count only and writes nothing to Apple Health. The data is read and kept on your device, is never used for advertising, and is never shared. Apple Health data is never stored in iCloud: while iCloud sync is on, Health import pauses and imported Health entries stay in an on-device holding area (still included in backups). After you turn sync off and reopen the app, they reappear and the paused period is filled in.

What is memory? Can I delete it?

Ebbwatch keeps the facts, preferences and habits it learns from your entries and conversations, and uses them for divergences, projections and AI narration. In More › Memory you can view, edit, pin or delete any memory, add your own, clear all memories, or turn learning off.

How are divergences and projections made?

A divergence compares your recent entries with your own baseline and is marked in red when a tracker clearly departs from it. Projections estimate a trend, the odds of reaching a goal, and the chance a habit continues. They start to appear after about two weeks and 20 entries. Both are computed on your device from your own data only. They are statistical estimates, not professional advice.

How do I back up, restore or move to a new device?

• In More › Export and backup, tap Create backup archive. You get a .girsbackup file with your entries, trackers, goals, automations, places, memory, photos, videos and voice notes. Save it to Files or share it.
• To restore, tap Restore or migrate from archive on the same screen and pick the .girsbackup file. Review the preview, then choose to merge with existing data (adds only what is missing) or replace existing data (nothing changes if the restore fails).
• You can also export CSV or JSON for Numbers, Excel or other tools.
• Ebbwatch also keeps the last few automatic backups on the device.

Backup files are not encrypted. Store them somewhere safe.

How do I delete my data?

• Delete any entry or memory in the app. Memory also has Clear all memories.
• Deleting the app permanently deletes all data on the device, including entries and memory. Make a backup first if you may want it later.
• If you used iCloud sync, remove the iCloud copy in Settings › Apple Account › iCloud › Manage Storage.
• We hold none of your data, so there is nothing for us to delete on a server.

What does Ebbwatch Pro include, and how do I cancel?

Logging, timeline, stats, divergences, automations, widgets and backup are always free, with 10 AI messages a day. Ebbwatch Pro adds unlimited AI chat, projections and AI observations, memory, iCloud sync, photo AI, AI life story and all themes. New users can try every Pro feature free for 30 days, without subscribing. Nothing is charged when the trial ends; the app returns to the free tier. To keep every feature, choose monthly, yearly or a one-time lifetime purchase. Cancel any time in iPhone Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions. After a new device or reinstall, tap Restore purchases in More › Ebbwatch Pro. Anyone who installed a version before 1.3 keeps every Pro feature for life.

How do I switch between English and Chinese?

Ebbwatch follows your iPhone's language by default. To choose 简体中文 or English for Ebbwatch only, use More › Language in the app; it applies after you reopen the app. The on-device AI replies in the language you write in. The Daily encouragement widget switches between Chinese and English with one tap.

Why does Ebbwatch ask for Always location access?

Only for places you set up: it lets Ebbwatch log an entry when you arrive or leave, even when the app is closed, and powers optional visit detection. If you don't use places, you don't need to allow it, and nothing else is affected.
